One of the strategies encouraged by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade to deal with world economic conditions is to change the target market for exports, which previously focused on developed countries to non-traditional market countries such as developing countries. This is commonly referred to as export market diversification.

This strategy is also being implemented by PT Benteng Mas Persada in 2025, proven to be successful in exporting products to non-traditional market countries namely Tahiti, by sending one container each to this country.

The total value of exports is amounted to 7,000 USD. The products sent with a total of 275 packs are plastic furniture consisting of drawers, cabinets and shelves.

All products shipped to both countries are made of thick plastic material of the highest quality. The delivered products also have a variety of attractive colors and are not easily faded, as well as a modern design that adapts to the needs of the customer.

The export activities to Tahiti show that non-traditional markets have great potential for local companies that want to touch the international market. This proves that market diversification strategies and maintaining product quality are the keys to success in the midst of world economic conditions.
